About Business Intelligence
Privacy laws, availability of centralized / indexed public records, and permissible access to records vary from state to state, and considerably from country to country. GBI has access to dozens of domestic and international subscription-based and proprietary databases, and maintains a vast network of vetted sources in the U.S. and internationally to supplement available records with less-available information.
In developing countries, emerging markets, and countries with developing legal and regulatory practices, important records are often limited. These records may not be properly or fully documented and/or may not be available to the general public. Moreover, although records may be available through online sources, well-placed and high-level sources within government, military, law enforcement, regulatory and industry-specific communities are often needed to identify and access truly relevant information.
While conducting hundreds of due diligence investigations in over 50 countries, GBI knows what types of records are available, where to find them, and how to analyze and report relevant intelligence in an efficient manger.
INTEGRITY: GBI complies with rules of professional conduct and responsibility and operates in accordance with the highest standards of legal and ethical behavior, including: working on assignments free of conflict, maintaining confidentiality, engaging in legitimate business practices as defined by the U.S. and cooperating country government laws, protecting attorney-client and work-product privileges, maintaining information in a secure environment, using licensed security professionals and investigators when needed, and strictly observing national and local laws, as well as international laws concerning information access.
